Barbara June (Lusher) McMeekin, 93, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Wednesday, July 6, 2022, at her home in Gilbertsville.
Born in Staines, England, she was the daughter of the late Herbert Henry Lusher and Florence Jessie (Stent) Lusher.
Barbara would want to be remembered for her great faith in the Savior and this guided her everyday life. She was very generous and always willing to help others. Barbara supported many different charitable foundations and missionaries. She used her talents to beautify her surroundings, being an avid gardener. Barbara was diligent and much valued for her work ethic and honesty as a bookkeeper and secretary for various businesses.
Surviving is her daughter Malva Snyder, wife of Larry; sister Betty Johnson, wife of the late Ray Johnson; grandchildren Mark Snyder, Matthew Snyder, Michael Snyder, Laura Snyder, M. Peter Snyder, Samuel Snyder, and Seth Snyder; nieces Karen Johnson and April Johnson.
Services will be held privately by the family.
