Nancy L. Fink, 89

Nancy L. (Frampton) Fink, 89, wife of the late Kenneth A. Fink, passed away on Friday, August 19, 2022, at Keystone Villa in Douglassville.

Born in Wilmington, DE, she was the daughter of the late Charles William Frampton and Edna May (Harrington).

Nancy dedicated her life to serving others as a registered nurse. She completed nursing school while raising young children and never looked back. In her down time, she enjoyed playing bridge and pinochle with Ken. She loved to sew and made beautiful quilts. In retirement Nancy and Ken traveled extensively. Her greatest joy was spending time with (or simply bragging about) her children and grandchildren.

Surviving is her son Bernard J. Nolan (thinks he's the favorite), husband of Dee; son Robert A. Fink (the favorite), husband of Catherine; daughter Linda Fink Goldsmith (doesn't need external validation), wife of Lenny; grandchildren Aaron, Morgan, Laurel, Hayden, Dalton, Heather, Marla, Julia, and Cameron (they all think they’re the favorite… but it’s Rob) and great grandson Mason.

A memorial visitation will be held for both Nancy and Kenneth Fink, on Saturday, September 10, 2022, from 10:00-11:00AM at Catagnus Funeral Home (329 N. Lewis Rd., Royersford, PA 19468). A time of sharing remembrances will follow at 11:00AM at the funeral home. Burial will be held privately by the family at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association (https://act.alz.org/) or to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network (https://secure.pancan.org/) in Nancy’s name.

Add My Condolences

Nice to read that so many others have the same loving memories of Aunt Nancy. She gave so much to others and asked for so little in return. Losing someone who held such a special place in my heart and my life has left such sadness right now. I do know that this sorrow is not forever but that special love is.

Linda, Rob, BJ:

So many great memories on Waterford Drive involving Aunt Nancy. She was a most gracious hostess for the always highly anticipated Christmas Eve party and the occasional ad-hoc Risk boardgame battle. I hope you find comfort in the fact that she was an exceptional nurse, neighbor, & mother who built a great life and raised great kids.

Growing up across the street, I think Aunt Nancy fixed more of my boo-boos than any doctor! At Dr K's I got to work with her up close and see how she helped hundreds of patients. And nobody does Christmas Eve — or the Poconos — like the Finks. Rest in peace, Aunt Nancy. You will be missed. My thoughts and prayers are with Rob, Cathy, BJ, Dee, Linda, and Lenny and all of their beautiful children (and grandchild). All my love, Jill

Aunt Nancy was always there to provide a kind word and a helping hand. Growing up in the neighborhood would not have been the same without her. She also made a mean batch of dill pickles. She will be missed but not forgotten. - Greg

Nancy has been a constant presence in my life for over 50 years. She was fun, helpful, and more like a sister than a friend. I miss her and always will.
