Christine E. Budgy, 89, of Zieglerville, formerly of Allentown, died on September 2, 2022.
She is predeceased by her beloved husband, Dr. Joseph Budgy, with whom she celebrated 61 years of marriage. She is also lovingly missed by her sons, Kevin and Mark, their wives Stacey and Kirstin, and her seven grandchildren – Cailin, Liam, Patrick, Maura, Maggie, Rory, and Fiona.
Born in Kenhorst, a suburb of Reading, she was the daughter of Anastasia and Frank Rabzak.
She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Kutztown University and completed graduate work there as well. She also holds a degree in Library Science. An art and library teacher, her great love for children and her subject matter shone through to all who were fortunate to have her for a teacher.
She was a gifted artist, as well, working in the medium of water color. She volunteered and shared her gifts freely at Emmaus Middle School, Parkland Library, and Frederick Living for all to appreciate and enjoy.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at (2pm Saturday, Sept. 10, 2022) at Frederick Living, 2849 Big Rd, Zieglerville, PA. Family and friends are invited.
