Linda Ethel (Lehr) Schrieber, 73, of Boyertown, wife of the late George R. Schrieber, passed away Friday November 4, 2022 at ProMedica, Pottstown.
Born in Reading, she was the daughter of the late Robert P. Lehr Sr. and Ethel E. (Seidel) Lehr.
Linda enjoyed writing poems. She loved sending cards for every birthday and anniversary to her family and friends. She was a very generous person who had a heart of gold. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
Surviving are her two daughters Cheryl Kohl wife of Spencer and Susana Matthews wife of Jason; grandchildren Troy, Gavin, Scott, and Ryan; brother Robert P. Lehr Jr. wife of Susan; one niece and two nephews.
Services will be at a later date.
I just learned of Linda's passing today, over a year later. She was a true example of Jesus' love and humbleness. I was one of those lucky ones that received a birthday card with a poem each year. I know she loved our Lord and is safe in His arms. I pray that I can be more like her, and one day see her again.
I was the last birthday card you sent out, I will treasure it always! You always put others before yourself, so kind and caring! An example of Gods love. We all know you made it to Heaven. I remember the day you first held my youngest son, Dominic a few days after I brought him home. He would of been 19 years old this upcoming week and I just envision you holding each other again. Of course you finally get to meet my mother in law to. More importantly you’re reunited with the love of your life! I bet it’s beautiful up there. You loved God and have done him proud. Some I will example my life by. Thank you for being that example for me and such a wonderful mother to my lifetime friends/family. Watching the mother and daughter relationship between you and Sue always filled my heart with joy! God speed my friend and for my friends I know how difficult this time of year is going through this. I pray my words find you some solace! ????????????????????????
