Andrew J. McCormick, 90, husband of Irene (Thack) McCormick, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 8, 2022, at Gwynedd Health Care in Lansdale.
Born in Shamokin, he was the son of the late John and Anna (Shinskie) McCormick.
Andrew enjoyed singing. He was a soloist at many church weddings. Andrew was an avid golfer and played in the Firestone Golf League for many years. He proudly served in the United States Navy during the Korean War. Andrew was a member of the Knights of Columbus.
Surviving is his daughter Mary Kathryn Aranowski, wife of Richard; son Fr. Andrew McCormick; grandchildren Alexis and Joseph Aranowski. He is predeceased by a sister and 3 brothers.
A viewing will be held on Wednesday, December 14, 2022, from 10:00-10:45AM, with a funeral Mass to follow, at 11:00AM at St. Aloysius Church (223 Beach St., Pottstown, PA 19464), Burial will follow at Highland Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Aloysius Church in Andrew’s name.
