Nanette F. Miller, 85

Nanette F. Miller, of Royersford, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 17, 2022 at the Reading Hospital. She was the loving wife of Marvin C. Miller, mother of Mark D. Miller and Dawn E. Miller Medvesky (wife of Mark Medvesky), and grandmother of Cole Miller Medvesky and Joshua Miller Medvesky. She also loved her grand-dogs Jesse and Raider. Nanette was the head majorette of the Boyertown Area High School marching unit and the first fire baton twirler at the high school. She was also a member of the Masonic Order of Eastern Star during her earlier years. Nanette was very creative throughout her life. She enjoyed gardening, candle making, sewing and cooking. As a young mother, she enjoyed making clothing for her children and matching dresses for her daughter and daughter’s dolls. Her main focus in life was spending time with her family. She enjoyed going on vacations at various locations in Florida, including Walt Disney World, and spending time at their place at the shore. In addition to being a devoted wife, mother and grandmother, her professional career included positions as an optician, optometrist office manager, administrative assistant, and Avon representative.

A celebration of Nanette’s life will take place at Catagnus Funeral Home, 1020 East Philadelphia Avenue, Gilbertsville, PA on Saturday, January 7 at 11:00AM. A visitation will also be held on Saturday, January 7, 2022, from 10:00-11:00AM at the funeral home. A private graveside burial will follow.

At Nanette’s request, contributions in lieu of flowers may be made to the Montgomery County SPCA, 19 E. Ridge Pike, Conshohocken, PA 19428 or Providence Animal Center, 555 Sandy Bark Road, Media, PA 19063.

Marv Sorry for your loss I remember first meeting her as new neighbors at ocean sands. Her coming out to greet us and chating away as if we were old friends. she was very kind. May the lord give you peace & comfort. Jesus goes to prepare a place where there are many mansions. those who beleive in me shall not perish but have ever lasting life.
