Judith Ann Griggs, 81, of Pottstown, passed away peacefully Monday, December 19, 2022. Born October 18, 1941 of Schuylkill County. Judy was guided home by her mother, Lydia wife of James Buffenmeyer, and her father Russell Moyer. Judy is best known for her love of cooking, shopping, playing cards, going to the beach, and going to the Apple butter Festival. Judy loved music and dancing, along with spending time with her family.
Judy is survived by four children, Paulette wife of David Gibbons, Jerry Grickis, Deborah wife Craig Hatch, Kelly wife of David Frye. Judy is also survived by her grandchildren Keith, Lauren, Savanna, Stephanie, Lydia, Mariah, Ty, and Noah. Judy is survived by her great grandchildren Isaiah, Justin, Peyton, Matthew, Morgan and Gracie. She is also predeceased by her brother Theodore Moyer, her late husband, Walter Griggs, and her best friend Rita Swoyer.
Family has chosen to not have funeral services however; donations can be made to Sanatoga Center (225 Evergreen Rd, Pottstown, PA 19464). Family would like to thank the staff there for all their time, attention, and love they shared with Judy. Family would also like to thank Tower Health Hospice for their care and compassion.
