Lawrence F. Kirchmier, Jr., 92, of Pottstown, passed away Saturday January 7, 2023 at Sanatoga Center.
Born in Pittsburgh, he was the son of the late Lawrence F. Sr. and Margaret M. (Sweeney) Kirchmier.
Larry served in the US Army during the Korean War and was stationed at Valley Forge Army Hospital where served as a clerk. He worked as a printing press operator at Paris Corporation for over 40 years. Larry enjoyed traveling and taking trips to the casino.
Surviving is his brother Cornelius P. Kirchmier; 11 nieces and nephews; and many great and great-great nieces and nephews.
Along with his parents, he was predeceased by his sisters Bernadette Claflin and Margaret McKenna; and the love of his life Trudy Boyer.
Funeral services will be held Saturday January 14, 2023 at 3:30 PM at Catagnus Funeral Home & Cremation Center, LLC., 711 N. Franklin St., Pottstown, PA 19464. Interment will be private. Visitation will be held Saturday from 2:30-3:15 PM at the funeral home.
