John L. Heckler, 64

John L. Heckler, 64, of Souderton, PA, son of the late Helen Heckler (Metz) passed away in his home on January, 13 2023. As a young man, John enjoyed working on stock cars at Grandview Speedway, fishing in the local creeks, and playing in softball leagues. As he grew, his love of sports also grew to include bowling, golf, poker, and riding all-terrain vehicles. John was a loving father and extremely active in his children’s and grandchildren’s lives. His family would like him to be remembered as an amazing husband and father who had a quick wit and made everybody laugh.

He is survived by his devoted wife of 47 years, Pamela Heckler (Moyer), and their 4 children: John Heckler, husband of Jen Heckler; Jamie Heckler; Brandy Majcher (Heckler), wife of Rick Majcher; and Brian Heckler. He is also survived by his mother-in-law Janet Geraghty and his grandchildren: Jeremiah Heckler, husband of Mikayla Heckler; Samantha Heckler-O’Connor; Matthew Heckler; Jordan Heckler-Hine; Logan Heckler; Charlie Majcher; and Lincoln Majcher. Additionally, he leaves behind his 6 siblings: Betty Mccune, Harley Heckler, Lori Isenberg, Pokey Heckler, Randy Heckler, and Joy Bennett.

Memorial services will be held on Friday January, 20 at 3 pm at the Spring Valley Village Clubhouse.

I am soooo very sad to hear of the loss of John your precious husband if 47 years.... that is beautiful but I know sooo very bittersweet... and Jamie dear your very loved family .. I thought at first mom talking bout your grandmom then realized it was dad I am soooo sorry to hear ALL of you are in my thoughts and prayers... you really are 2 of my favorite women... live you both dearly!!!

Pam, Brian, I always talked to John when he was working and became a friend of his here at work. He was always so nice to me and asked me to play golf with him. I am very sorry for your loss and wanted to express my deepest condolences to you and you whole family as we will miss John.
