Sara “Pud” Lutz, 70, of Pottstown, formerly of Norristown, wife of the late Gregory A. Lutz, passed away Tuesday February 7, 2023 at her residence.
Born in Norristown, she was the daughter of the late William and Sara (Robinson) Wertman.
Sara was known for being a fan of Elvis and her collection of Longaberger Baskets. She enjoyed taking trips with her girlfriends to the beach. She worked in food service for the Perkiomen Valley School District for over 25 years. Sara loved spending time with her dogs. She was a generous caregiver to family and those in need.
Surviving is her son Gregory A. Lutz, Jr.; daughter Sara E. Yorgey; grandson Ethan Gregory Lutz; sister Patricia Bernstiel wife of Jack; and brothers George Wertman and Rob Wertman husband of Kathy.
Along with her husband and parents, Sara was predeceased by her sister Roberta Hook and brothers William and Mark Wertman.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
