Anthony (Jack) Kern, 83, husband of Patricia Ann (Walther) Kern, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 16, 2023, at Abington Hospital Hospice.
Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Anthony Martin Kern and late Anna Marie (Brown) Kern.
Jack was a huge Philadelphia sports fan. He also was an avid stamp collector. Jack had passions for photography, model trains, and loved to garden. He was a member of St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church.
Surviving along with his wife Patricia of 63 years, is his daughter Patricia Drakas; daughter Kathleen Kern; daughter Jacqueline Kern; and son John Kern, husband of Karen; brother Gerald Kern; grandchildren Kelly, Nicole, Allison, Katie, Amanda, Michael, Elizabeth, and Adam; great grandchildren Jacob, Mila, Madison, Lijah, Avery, and Micah.
A memorial mass will be held on Thursday, March 23, 2023, at 11:00AM at St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church (40 Spring Mt Rd, Schwenksville, PA 19473) with Father Mike Ryan officiating the service. Burial will follow at St. John Newman Cemetery in Chalfont. A visitation will also be held on Thursday, March 23, 2023, from 10:00-11:00 AM at the church.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association (https://act.alz.org/) in Jack’s name.
