Thomas Vance Gaudiello, 80, of Upper Pottsgrove, husband of Virginia Roberta (Shultz) Gaudiello of 35 years, passed away Thursday March 30, 2023 at the Southeastern Veterans Center.
Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Carmen J. and Alzina (Vance) Gaudiello.
Thomas was a graduate of Upper Darby High School, class of 1961. He attended West Chester University. He Graduated from Retz Electronic School and taught at Retz until 2004. Thomas served in the US Army during Vietnam and was a member of the 291st Army Band and stationed at Fort Jackson, SC. He was head of the percussion section of the band. Tom played with many groups, including the Castaways of Liar Liar Fame, the Gil Satin Trio, and Carol Lyman and the Mello Larks.
Along with his parents, he was predeceased by his brothers Richard, Joseph, and James Gaudiello.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday April 11, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Catagnus Funeral Home & Cremation Center, LLC., 711 N. Franklin St., Pottstown, PA 19464. Burial will follow at Highland Memorial Park, Pottstown. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 10:00-10:45 AM at the funeral home.
