Jack FitzPatrick, 79

Jack FitzPatrick, 79, of Gilbertsville, husband of Veronica (Coates) FitzPatrick, passed away Thursday April 6, 2023 at Chestnut Knoll.

Born in Atlantic City, NJ, he was the son of the late John and Kathryn (Galitski) FitzPatrick.

Jack served in the US Navy. He worked as a police officer in Lower Merion and served as a volunteer firefighter. He enjoyed fishing, trips to Shady Maple, and watching the Phillies and Flyers. He was a huge fan of Grumpy the dwarf and often teased his grandchildren about it. Jack had a great sense of humor and enjoyed making others laugh.

Surviving along with his wife are his children Tom FitzPatrick husband of Christine and Colleen Fitzpatrick; grandchildren Casey and Cory FitzPatrick; and his sister Patricia FitzPatrick.

Along with his parents, Jack was predeceased by his daughter Michelle FitzPatrick.

Funeral services will be held Friday April 14, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Catagnus Funeral Home & Cremation Center, LLC., 1020 E. Philadelphia Ave., Gilbertsville, PA 19525. Burial will be private. Visitation will be held Friday from 9:30-10:45 AM at the funeral home.
