Dorothy Ann Levanovitch, 93

Dorothy “Dottie” Ann (Razzis) Levanovitch, 93, wife of the late Alex P. Levanovitch, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 9, 2023, at Pottstown Hospital.

Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Anna (Sokitis) Razzis.

Dottie loved going to the shore, camping at the shore, and vacationing in Stone Harbor. She was a member of the Senior Circle at Pottstown Hospital; member of the Senior Group at St. Gabriel’s Church; member of the Pottstown Knitting Club; and a faithful member of St. Gabriel of the Sorrowful Mother Church Parish for many years. In her spare time, Dottie enjoyed knitting, crocheting, and gardening. She was a big Philadelphia Phillies and Eagles fan, and enjoyed watching their games on TV. Dottie really enjoyed her line of work as a switchboard operator at Pottstown Medical Center East, North, the new hospital, and at the Hill School. Later in her life, Dottie thoroughly enjoyed living at Walnut Woods Retirement Community for several years where she discovered her talent as a basket weaver. Dorothy was selfless, always giving to others before herself. She was kind, friendly, and cheerful to everyone she met, giving encouragement, making jokes, and seeing the good in everyone. A woman of faith, she was a devoted Catholic, loved her family fiercely, was an example of strength, and will be greatly missed by everyone who knew her.

Surviving is her daughter Diana Gulotta, wife of the late Dean; daughter Deborah Levanovitch, wife of Robert Pritchard; son Alex Levanovitch; and son Albert Levanovitch; grandchildren Danielle Weikel, wife of Matt; Dara Finaldi, wife of Chris; Alex Levanovitch; and Alissa Baker, wife of John; great grandchildren Grace and Ava Weikel, and Logan and Landon Finaldi; and several nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her brother Albert Razzis and her sister Eleanor Laguna.

A funeral mass will be held on Saturday, April 15, 2023, at 11:30AM at St. Gabriel’s Church (127 Jefferson St, Stowe, PA 19464) with Fr. Wilson officiating. Burial will follow at Limerick Garden of Memories. A viewing will also be held on Saturday, April 15, 2023, from 10:00-11:30AM at the church.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the St. Gabriel Memorial Fund (127 Jefferson St, Stowe, PA 19464) in Dotty’s name.
