Ardyth J.H. (Holder) Edgerton, 63, of Boyertown, wife of Craig Edgerton, passed away Saturday April 15, 2023 at her residence.
Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of Jean Anne (Merion) Holder and the late Arthur James Holder, MD.
Ardyth was a beautiful person who had a grace and calming presence about her. She loved traveling, nature, and animals. She was a talented painter, stained glass maker, and Pisanki Egg artist. Ardyth enjoyed helping her friends at Dancing Tree Gallery and Studio in Boyertown. She attended Elizabethtown College from 1977-1979 and Penn State University from 1984-1986 where she earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Hotel & Restaurant Management. Ardyth worked for Red Roof Inn for 20 years where she was a specialized in Government travel and was named a HSMAI Hospitality Hero at the 2020 Adrian Awards. Ardyth was a board member and leader of Common Ground Volunteers and a former Vestry member at Christ Episcopal Church. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend to many people nationwide.
Surviving along with her husband are her sons Andrew Edgerton fiancée of John Zoppina and Tyler Edgerton husband of Cheryl; grandson Hunter Edgerton; brother William Holder partner of Sheree Riley; and nieces Christin Holder, Laura Jean Faber, and Kathryn Holder.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
