Mary Ella Polli, 62

Mary Ella Polli (Marshall), 62, known to her family and friends as ‘Sissy”, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 26, 2023, at Einstein Medical Center Montgomery surrounded by her loved ones.

She adored spending time with her preschool students at her job as a teacher's aide. In addition, she impacted many people working as a wellness coach at the Pottstown YMCA. Sissy enjoyed working out at the gym and staying active. She cherished her two dogs, Lola and Rico. She was known to have a sweet tooth and also loved buying and collecting vintage jewelry.

She is survived by her children JJ Polli, Joey Polli and Lisa Polli; sister Lisa Richards, wife of the late Skip; niece Paige Avellan; and nephew Skipper Richards.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 13, 2023, at 11:30AM at Catagnus Funeral Home (711 N. Franklin St., Pottstown, PA 19464). A visitation will also be held on Saturday, May 13, 2023, from 10:00-11:30AM at the funeral home.

I read the beautiful notes of peace and love in memory of our first cousin Sissy. There seems to be no way to add to what we read, such loving friends. Sissy-Mary was our soul sister, she was the light and love who overcame this world. We always called each other "cuz". She was more like a Soul Sister. We ask her and the other Saints to pray for us who endure this sad world.

Love Don and Margie DePaul.

Mary was the sweetest, most caring soul in the world. She had the most positive outlook on life and those that were in her life. Her family was always first. I will miss all our talks. It could be months that I would not see her and we would pick up like the no time has passed. I love her dearly and I will always carry a piece of her in my heart. RIP sweet friend ??????

Grew up with Mary as my neighbor but wasn’t until I got older that I was able to experience her light. Mary has the sweetest and most genuine soul and I will miss yelling to her from the sidewalk every day! Keeping JJ, Joey and Lisa in my thoughts.
