William "Bill" Lawson, 75

William (Bill) Lawson, 75, of Limerick, passed away Tuesday April 25, 2023 at the Phoenixville Hospital.

Born in Jeannette, Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late William Joseph and Helen Ann (Wing) Lawson. He was an accomplished wrestler and cheerleader at Jeannette Senior High School and attended North Dakota State on a wresting scholarship prior to enlisting in the Marine Corps. He proudly served in the United States Marine Corps for 4 years during the Vietnam War.

He will be remembered as an outgoing, fun-loving man who enjoyed life to the fullest. He was a skilled craftsman who worked in the construction industry for over 50 years. He very often used that skill to help others in need and loved to teach others the skills that he had learned over the years. One of his passions was to travel whenever he could and sitting on a beach in Aruba relaxing was where he loved to be. He was a lifelong Pittsburgh Steelers fan and loved to watch basketball. Bill left us far too soon he will be dearly missed by his family and friends

Surviving are his three sons Mike Lawson husband of Tabitha, Scot Lawson husband of Melissa, and Brad Lawson; one daughter Melissa Horvath wife of Christian; nine grandchildren; four brothers Timothy, Mark, Michael, and Richard Lawson; and three sisters Carol, Robin, and Diane Lawson.

Services will be private at the request of the family.
