Diane Bonck, 68

Diane L. (Skitt) Bonck, 68, wife of John A. Bonck, passed away on Friday, June 23, 2023, at Phoenixville Hospital.

Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of Lois (Pooley) Skitt and the late James B. Skitt.

Diane was an avid quilter. Over the years, she generously gifted many of her beautiful handmade quilts to family and friends who will treasure them for years to come. She was also an outdoor enthusiast who enjoyed gardening, hiking, and sailing. As a master gardener she pollinated her friends ‘gardens with her perennials. Diane also enjoyed traveling overseas with her husband. She was an active member of Cornerstone Church of Skippack.

Above all, Diane was a generous and compassionate caregiver. She devoted her life to taking care of her children, grandchildren and many others over the years. She will always be remembered as a loving wife, mother and grandmother.

Surviving Diane are her husband of 42 years, John, her children John Allen Bonck (husband of Dustin Almon), Leigh Ann Kelly, wife of Scott, and Carolyn Bonck (wife of Victor Di Noia), her brothers Jim (husband of Susan) and David Skitt (husband of Jennifer), grandchildren Tilghman and Pacey Bonck, and several nieces and nephews. They will all miss her tremendously.

A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, June 28, 2023, at 7:00PM at Cornerstone Church of Skippack (1326 Stump Hall Rd, Skippack, PA 19474).

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Diane’s name to the American Cancer Society (https://donate.cancer.org/) or to the Helping Up Mission (1029 E Baltimore St, Baltimore, MD 21202, https://helpingupmission.org/) .
