Mary Ella Neiman, 75

Mary Ella (Hall) Neiman, 75, wife of Gary C. Neiman, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 8, 2023, at Pottstown Hospital.

Born in Morysville, PA, she was the daughter of the late Sylvester and Virginia Hall; step-daughter of the late Henry Frey.

Surviving along with her husband Gary of 45 years, are her children Wendy K. Hrasok, wife of Mike; Suzanne C. Herb, wife of Steven; Suzette E. Rice; and Mike B. Rice, husband of Alyssa; sister Jane Dierolf, wife of George; brother Tommy Hall; brother-in-law Tom Kirlin; sister-in-law Donna Reynolds, wife of Jay; grandchildren Josh Rice, Nick Rice, Nate Rice, Stephen Hrasok, Alexandria Hrasok, wife of Dave Immendorf, Raechel Whitman, Samantha Whitman, Jessica Whitman, Courtney Solt, Zach Herb, Stephanie Snyder, wife of Jason; and great-granddaughters Arabella “Ella” Immendorf and Kennedy Snyder. She is predeceased by her brother Earl Hall; sister Pearl Kirlin; sister Doris Bates; and sister Carol Hall.

Mary worked at Federal Mogul from 1966-2010, where she established many friendships that continued beyond her time there.

Mary was a strong and caring presence who rarely ever sat still. Even in retirement, she filled her days with walking her dog “Smokey”, spending time with friends, tending to her garden, bird watching, and baking or decorating cookies an avid baker and loved decorating cookies. With her husband, four children, eleven grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren, she was never short of love to give. Her family and friends will deeply miss her infectious laugh, fiery sense of humor, delicious baked treats, and warm hugs. They feel so fortunate to have so many memories and traditions that will continue for years to come.

Services will be held privately by the family at this time.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital (https://www.stjude.org/) in Mary’s name.
