William “Bill” J. Dougherty, 60, husband of Nicole (Curtin) Dougherty, passed away on Friday, July 28, 2023, at Reading Hospital.
Born in Darby, he was the son of John Vincent Dougherty and Jeanne Marie (Anderson) Dougherty.
Bill loved working on cars, home repairs, and building horse jumps. He loved his dog Reba and his cats Oreo, Holly, Sasha, Jenna, and Cricket. Bill enjoyed his family vacations in Ocean City, NJ.
Surviving along with his wife Nicole “Nikkki” of 34 years, are his parents, his sister Eileen Ordinetz, wife of the late Terry; brothers David Dougherty, and Andrew Dougherty, husband of Catherine; nieces and nephews Diane Christensen, Michael Dougherty, Brandon Dougherty, Caitlin Dougherty, and Maura Dougherty.
Services will be held privately by the family at this time. A celebration of life will be held at FoxTale Farm 12 Fox Tale Lane, Oley PA at Noon on 8/6/2023. Please dress in appropriate farm attire (jeans, breeches, boots, sneakers or other casual attire).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Lucky Dawg Animal Rescue or MidAtlantic Horse Rescue in Bill’s name.
