Francis “Frank” X. Kane, 81, husband of Rosemarie J. (Guretskie) Kane, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 2, 2023, at Sunrise of Exton.
Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Francis L. Kane and Catherine (Bolton) Kane.
Frank graduated from Father Judge High School. He was a diehard Philadelphia Phillies fan. He loved his family very much. Frank was a lifelong member of St. Matthew’s Roman Catholic Church in Mayfair before joining St. Teresa of Calcutta.
Surviving along with his wife Rosemarie of 42 years, is his daughter Mary Fran Mockus, wife of Steve; brother Thomas Kane, husband of Mary Ann; brother James Kane, husband of Mary; grandchildren Christopher, Ryan, and Luke Mockus; sister-in-law Joanne Goodfellow; and many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his brother Rev. Monsignor Joseph Kane; sister Kathleen Gallagher; and sister Patricia Cawley.
A funeral mass will be held on Friday, September 8, 2023, at 12:30PM at St. Teresa of Calcutta (256 Swamp Pike, Schwenksville, PA 19473) with Fr. Paul Brandt officiating. Burial will follow at Limerick Garden of Memories. A viewing will also be held on Friday, September 8, 2023 from 11:00AM-12:15PM at the church.
