Grace Marie (Schaeffer) Brown, 97, wife of the late Richard S. Brown, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 13, 2023, at her home in Oley.
Born in Pottstown, she was the daughter of the late William and Sara (Mauger) Schaeffer.
Grace spent many years working at Doehler Jarvis Credit Union. Grace enjoyed being with her friends and family. She was very active at the Boyertown YMCA, attending water aerobics 3 days a week for 35 years. Grace liked swimming and going to the beach. In her spare time, she enjoyed playing cards, playing board games, and traveling. Grace also had a love for animals, especially her beloved dog Riley.
Surviving are her daughters Marcia Graham, wife of Bruce, and Nadine Thees; grandchildren Brittany Bowman, wife of Michael, Sara Graham, and Michael Graham, husband of Robin; and great grandchildren Aiden and Brooklyn Graham. She is predeceased by her brother Gerald Schaeffer.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 19, 2023, at 11:00 AM at Catagnus Funeral Home (711 N. Franklin St., Pottstown, PA 19464) with Pastor Greg Frey officiating. Burial will follow at Highland Memorial Park. A viewing will also be held on Tuesday, September 19, 2023, from 9:30-11:00 AM at the funeral home.
