Joan Marie Schneider, 69 of Royersford PA, wife of Eugene H. Schneider, Jr passed away on 9/21/2023 at The Wayne Center quietly in her sleep.
Born in Schuylkill Haven Pa, she was the daughter of John R. Crossley (deceased) and Joan M. Dailey. Along with her husband, Joan leaves behind three brothers: John Crossley, husband of Emma of Dover; Gerald Crossley, husband of Patricia of Maple Shade, NJ; and Daniel Crossley, husband of Bonnie of Earlville.
Joan also leaves behind a daughter, Nicole M. Strachko married to Ron Long, a son Steven Strachko and his wife, Brittney. Five grandchildren, Amanda Kratz; Anna Strachko; Dylan Strachko, Dominique Strachko and Jocelyn Strachko and a great grand daughter Ivy Lyn. Joan was predeceased by her father and younger sister, Susan Horn of Earlville.
Joan spent many years active in Big Brothers and Big Sisters and was very active at her parish, St. Columbkill in Boyertown, PA
Joan’s legacy lives on in the hearts of her children, grandchildren and great-grandchild, and all who will never forget her dedication to family and community.
A Memorial Service will be held Monday October 2, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Catagnus Funeral Home & Cremation Center, LLC., 1020 E. Philadelphia Ave., Gilbertsville, PA 19512. Interment will be private. Visitation will be held Monday from 10:00-10:45 AM at the funeral home.
