Nicholas W. Lubic, 71

Nicholas W. Lubic, loving husband, father and Pee-pop/ Grandpa passed away peacefully at his home in Pottstown, PA on October 3, 2023.

An avid Steelers fan, Nick could be found hanging with his family by the pool, tending to his garden, toasting at a party to celebrate the finer moments of life, or cracking a joke certain to light up the entire room. Some of his favorite moments were spent bleeding black and gold at tailgates with the family.

He loved Christmas and hosted Christmas Eve every year for his family spoiling his grandkids rotten. He also loved opening his own presents pretending to know what they were before he opened them up. Little did the kids know, he specifically asked for each item. Nick will be deeply missed by his family and all those around him.

Born in Ambridge, PA, he was the son of the late Nicholas Lubic and Louise (Lubic) Pekarchik.

He was proud father to Shawn Lubic (Colleen) and Bethany Badzik (Tim). He was survived by his children, 5 grandkids (Nicky, Tyler, Vienna, Peyton and Izzy) and his loving companion Nancy Tonkin. In addition, he leaves behind 7 siblings.

Along with his loving wife Patricia Lubic (Bachor) and parents, he was predeceased by his brother Chucky and stepfather Mike Pekarchik.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Nick’s viewing Tuesday October 10, 2023 9:30am to 11:00 am followed by a memorial service at Catagnus Funeral Home, 711 N. Franklin St. Pottstown, PA 19646. All are invited to attend the burial.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Nick’s memory to The National LeioMyoSarcoma Foundation at https://nlmsf.org/donate/
