Sheila Mae Baldwin, 84

Sheila Mae Baldwin (Lash, Spiezio) passed away peacefully at her daughter’s home in McQueeney, TX on Friday, October 6th, 2023.

Born in Reading, PA, she was the daughter of the late Harry Lash and Marie Leininger (Berger, Lash). During her 84 years of life, she worked for Merck Sharp & Dohme, drove bus for Methacton School District, and had several side jobs. While residing in Collegeville and Royersford, PA, she was an active member at Limerick Chapel for nearly 30 years where she sang in the choir and ran the bus ministry. For 20 years she called Woodhull, NY home before moving to Frederick, MD, and then McQueeney, TX. She loved to crochet, woodwork, and do anything she put her mind to.

Surviving are her children Luiz Spiezio and his wife, Marybeth (Pierson), of Norristown, PA, Charles Spiezio and his wife, Susanne (Schwenck), of Easton, PA, Angela Smith (Spiezio) and her husband, Richard, of Quakertown, PA, David Spiezio and his wife, Denise (Holly), of Frederick, MD, Debbie Wonsang (Spiezio) and her husband, Will, of McQueeney, TX, Heather Hampton (Baldwin) and her husband, Eric, of Alexander, ND, and Wayne Baldwin, Jr. of Jasper, NY. She is also survived by 26 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husbands, Luiz Spiezio & Wayne Baldwin Sr., her parents, her sister, Gayle (Lash), daughter, Cheryl Gonce (Spiezio), son, Thomas Baldwin, and her grandsons, Christopher Spiezio, Christopher Gonce and Peter Smith.

A Memorial Service will be held at Catagnus Funeral Home in Royersford, PA. Friday, October 20th at 10:45 am. Friends can call starting at 10:00am. Interment will be at Limerick Garden of Memories immediately after the service.
