Frank Simone Santillo, 68, of Spring City, husband of Kathleen (Gullotta) Santillo, passed away Wednesday, October 18, 2023 at Keystone House hospice in Wyndmoor.

Born in Syracuse, NY, he was the son of the late Francesco and Carmella (Demonaco) Santillo.

Frank received his bachelor’s degree in chemistry from Le Moyne College followed by a doctorate in chemistry from Syracuse University. Over his 40-year career, Frank worked in multiple managerial positions within the pharmaceutical industry.

Frank was a talented woodworker with a passion for making colonial-era furniture. He was a home improvement and computer/technology guru, and enjoyed international cuisine and travel. Most importantly, he cherished spending time with his family.

Surviving along with his wife are his sons Michael Santillo husband of Yitong Liu and Christopher Santillo husband of Jaclyn; grandchildren Magnolia, Evelyn, and Max.

Services and interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Frank’s memory to brain tumor research and education efforts for Vickie & Jack Farber Institute for Neuroscience at Thomas Jefferson University (https://giving.jefferson.edu/giving-guide/research/neurological.html).

Kathy,

I just heard that Frank passed away. I am so sorry for your loss. I enjoyed my time with him on a professional and personal basis. We not only talked about work but had many great discussions about life events, family, kids and grand kids. He truly loved life and his family. Frank and I worked together at ProClinical. He was a leader, colleague and a problem solver. He was a serious person but had a nice way about him. I have many good memories of him.
