Jane Guhl, 91

Jane (Gantert) Guhl, 91, wife of the late Richard Guhl, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 22, 2023, at Manatawny Manor in Pottstown.

Born in Phoenixville, she was the daughter of the late Armand and Gertrude (Huls) Gantert.

Her faith and family were the most important aspects of Jane’s life. She loved bird watching and gardening. She went to grade school at St. Aloysius and was a lifelong member of the Parish.

Surviving are her children Sue (Dennis) Zaremski, John (Trish) Kutterbach, Karen (John) Patota, Nora (Aly) Naguib, Richard (Jean) Guhl, and Andrew (Janet) Guhl; sister Elizabeth (the late Robert) Stahl; grandchildren Eric Zaremski (Victoria), Jason Zaremski (Carly ), Amy Pinchok (Matthew), Joshua Patota, Jared Patota (Bridget), Thomas Patota, and Victoria Patota; Megan and Shane Kutterbach( Natalie), Sarah(Omar) and Dalia Naguib; Michael and Matthew Guhl ..She had eight great grandchildren .She is predeceased by her brother Robert and his wife Barbara, and George Gantert, husband of Maryann and a grandchild Shane Guhl.

A funeral mass will be held on Friday, October 27, 2023, at 11:00AM at St. Aloysius Church (223 Beech St, Pottstown, PA 19464) with Fr. Maloney officiating. A viewing will also be held on Friday, October 27, 2023, from 10:00-10:45AM at the church. Burial will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Aloysius Church in Jane’s name.

Jane will always have a special place in my heart ever since she blessed me with holy oil before I deployed. Only a special person does something like that
