Virginia “Ginny” Bryan, 97

Virginia “Ginny” (Hollowbush) Bryan, 97, wife of the late Morris W. Bryan Jr., passed away peacefully on Friday, October 27, 2023, at Chestnut Knoll in Boyertown.

She was the daughter of the late Richard and Esther (Brendlinger) Hollowbush.

Ginny loved to garden and crochet. She often enjoyed camping in their mini camper. Ginny loved babysitting her grandchildren and was known as “Grammy” to all of her family.

Surviving are her daughters Terry A. Bundrant, wife of Bruce, and Connie L. Steffy, wife of David; brother Richard Hollowbush, husband of Alliene; grandchildren Kristin L. Conrad, Susan B. Beehler, and Elizabeth A. Chudoba; great grandchildren Alison L. Sell, Katherine C. Beehler, Jack B. Beehler, Trey D. Conrad, and Caleb A. Chudoba; and great-great grandson Cooper R. Sell. She is predeceased by her brother Earl Hollowbush and her sisters Catherine Fronheiser and Mildred Lenhart.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, November 3, 2023, at 1:00PM, at Catagnus Funeral Home (1020 E. Philadelphia Ave, Gilbertsville, PA 19525) with Chaplain Michael Sullivan officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview cemetery in Boyertown. A visitation will also be held on Friday, November 3, 2023, from 12:00-1:00PM at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Caring Hospice (400 Commerce Dr c, Fort Washington, PA 19034) in Virginia’s name.

Ginny was delightful. I would visit her and read stories and she was always so appreciative. When the weather was warm, we would travel up and down the local residential area and stop to look at gardens. She would ooh and aah, and the owners would come out to talk to her. What fun!
