Glenn Beekley, 73

Glenn Beekley, 73, of Schwenksville, husband of Shelly (Coveleski) Beekley, peacefully passed away Sunday October 29, 2023 at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania with Shelly by his side. They shared a beautiful life together and recently celebrated their 45th wedding anniversary.

Born in Pottstown, he was the son of the late George and Virginia (Ganter) Beekley.

Glenn served in the US Navy during the Vietnam War. He was a member of Spring Ford Country Club where he was an avid golfer and President’s Cup champion in 2014. Glenn also loved to travel with his wife. He had a great smile and always a kind word for everyone.

Surviving along with his wife are his sisters Linda Beekley Kennedy and Joan (Beekley) wife of Prentis Daloisio; in-laws Dale and Dorothy Fronheiser and Bob and Stephanie DellaCroce; and 9 nieces and nephews.

Along with his parents, Glenn was predeceased by his brother George “Bud” Beekley.

Funeral services will be held Monday November 6, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Catagnus Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Ltd., 595 W. Main St., Trappe, PA 19426. Burial will follow at Hill Church Union Cemetery, Boyertown. Visitation will be held Monday from 10:00-11:00 AM at the funeral home.

Glenn was a great friend and a wonderful guy to be around. He will be missed by me and all his Great Eight golf buddies. I will continue to keep him in my prayers. And of course now we have a great friend in heaven pulling for us all. RIP Glenn you will always be remembered.
