Selma (Small) O’Neil, 85, of Royersford, wife of the late Alfred O’Neil, passed away Thursday November 16, 2023 at Kindred Hospital in Havertown.
Born in Barbados, Selma was the daughter of the late Dudley and Corrine (Cossey) Small.
Selma enjoyed crocheting, reading her Bible and traveling back to her home country of Barbados. Most of all, she cherished spending time with her family which included her daughter Dr. Annette O’Neil and son-in-law Dr. Scott McNeal, son Michael O’Neil and son Anthony O’Neil and daughter-in-law Gloria Andino. Selma is also survived by her grandchildren Nicole (Kristoffer), Christopher (Silicia), Noel (Jared), David, Anthony, Jaeda, Aiden, and Andrew as well as her great grandchildren Kataliya and Kassiela. Selma’s surviving family also includes several cousins, nieces and nephews and her loving canine companion Coco.
Along with her husband and parents, Selma was predeceased by her brother Samuel and her sisters Corrine and Ruth.
Funeral services will be held Thursday November 30, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Catagnus Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Ltd., 329 N. Lewis Rd., Royersford, PA 19468. Burial will follow at Valley Forge Memorial Gardens in King of Prussia. Visitation will be held Thursday from 10:00-10:45 AM at the funeral home.
