Barbara Ann (Travis) Bauer-Walmsley, 81, previously married to Lewis Bauer and later Ronald Walmsley, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 6, 2023, at Reading Hospital.
Born in Pottstown, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Anna (Miller) Travis.
Barbara retired from Levitz Furniture after working as the payroll supervisor for many years. She then owned and operated Amity Walk-in Bingo. Barbara had many passions and hobbies. She was an avid bowler, rode motorcycles, enjoyed watching football, especially Penn State, enjoyed traveling and going on cruises, and loved horses and all animals. She liked to go to the casino and loved going to Myrtle Beach annually with her family for vacation.
Surviving are her sons William Bauer, husband of Michele, Dave Bauer, husband of Marsha Glasco; grandchildren Gabrielle Bauer, Alexandra Bauer, Joshua Bauer, Lee Bartholomew, Melissa Richter, Shalice Glasco, and Isaiah Glasco.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 16, 2023, at 1:00PM at Catagnus Funeral Home (711 N. Franklin St., Pottstown, PA 19464). Burial will be held privately by the family at a later date. A visitation will also be held on Saturday, December 16, 2023, from 11:00AM-1:00PM at the funeral home.
