Richard M. “Dick” Turner, 82, husband of Bonnie A. (Tuthill) Turner, passed away peacefully on Friday, December 8, 2023, at Phoenixville Hospital.
Born in Richmond, Virginia, he was the son of the late Robert Turner and Ann K. (Showaker) Cowan.
Dick was a very hard-working, successful business owner and entrepreneur. He was always making a deal, and was a master negotiator. Dick loved his family and was a very generous man. He always made sure his family was taken care of. Dick was an extremely smart and charismatic man who lived life to the fullest. He loved all dogs, especially his dogs he had over the years. In his long career, Dick owned Car Corner, Turner Ford in Shenandoah, Norco Motors, Bermont Motors, Tri County Toyota, and Tri County Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram. Boating was Dick’s biggest passion. He loved his Viking Boats, all of which were named “Foolish Pleasure”. He will always be loved and missed by everyone who knew him.
Surviving along with his wife Bonnie of 34 years, are his children Susan Turner Koribana, wife of Stan, Robert R. Turner, husband of Betty, Bryan Kreger, husband of Cheryl, and Donald Kreger; grandchildren Kevin Robertson, Amanda Turner, Dalton Turner, Matthew Turner, Alexa Turner, and Tim Turner; great grandchildren Kenzie and Cole Robertson. He is predeceased by his son Tim Turner; stepson Clark Kreger, and his step-father Phil Cowan.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 13, 2023, at 12:00PM at Catagnus Funeral Home (329 N. Lewis Rd., Royersford, PA 19468) with Pastor Ron Hughes officiating. Burial will follow at Limerick Garden of Memories. A viewing will also be held on Wednesday, December 13, 2023, from 10AM-12:00PM at the funeral home.
