Charles “Chuck” Lloyd, 71, husband of Pamela (Pollick) Lloyd, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 17, 2023, at his home in Royersford.
Born in Pottstown, he was the son of the late Charles Everett Lloyd and Dorothy (Fredman) Lloyd.
Chuck was a scuba diver with the Springford Search and Rescue Team. He graduated from Temple University and worked as a physical therapist for nearly 40 years, beginning his career at Pottstown Memorial Medical Center and finishing with Penn Care at Home. Chuck’s family was his focus, and he enjoyed tennis and golf, and road trips to explore many different states. Chuck was also a home beer brewer.
Surviving along with his wife Pam of 46 years, are his daughters Corrie, wife of Mischa Arnosky; and Jessica, wife of Sam Mitchell, granddaughters Peri and Thea, sister Cheryl Zaharis, and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 30, 2023, at 11:00AM at Catagnus Funeral Home (329 N. Lewis Rd., Royersford, PA 19468), with visitation beginning at 9:30. Burial will be held privately by the family at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Crossroads Hospice & Palliative Care (523 Plymouth Rd Suite 225, Plymouth Meeting, PA 19462) or to the Alzheimer’s Association (https://act.alz.org/) in Charles’ name.
