Laura Alice (Bannas) Mauger, 83, of Boyertown, wife of the late Ralph R. Mauger Jr., went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Thursday December 28, 2023 at her residence.
Born in Reading, she was the daughter of the late Earl Kline and Eula Mae Tatum.
Laura loved organizing and attending family functions. She was active at Colebrookdale Chapel where she taught Sunday school. Laura was an avid gardener and served with her husband in the Word of Life youth ministry.
Surviving is are her children Jill Diane Watkins wife of Mark, Janice Sue Berman wife of Dr. Craig, Janine Kay Leavitt wife of Stuart, and Todd Daniel Mauger husband of the late Kendra; grandchildren Benjamin Watkins, Melanie Boley, Emily Costantino, Daniel Watkins, Justine Boone, Adrienne Amster, Felicia Gresh, David Leavitt, Danielle Richards, Megan Mehl, Isaac Leavitt, Josiah Leavitt, Clay Mauger, and Curt Mauger; 35 great grandchildren; and sisters Karen Rohrbach and Donna Bannas.
Along with her husband and parents, Laura was predeceased by her grandson Channing Mauger.
Funeral services will be held Saturday January 6, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Colebrookdale Chapel, 2108 Farmington Ave., Boyertown, PA 19512. Burial will follow at Union Cemetery, Boyertown. Visitation will be held Saturday from 9:30-10:45 AM at the chapel.
