Nevin K, Weil, 74

Nevin K. Weil, 74, of Boyertown, husband of Ruth M. (Stengel) Weil, passed away Thursday December 28, 2023 at his residence.

Born in Orefield, he was the son of the late Leon Sr. and Edna (Miller) Weil.

Nevin enjoyed going to the beach, fishing, trips to the casino, and cooking for his family. He attended cars shows regularly with his prized 1971 Chevy Nova. Nevin took great pride in his work and craftsmanship as a stone cutter and rarely ever missed a hard days work. Above all else, he cherished spending time with his family and friends.

Surviving along with his wife is his daughters Kelly Weil, Kimberly Michaelkovich wife of Kevin; grandchildren Devon Bonenberger, Jordan Roberts, and Dylan Michaelkovich; great grandchildren Leo, Ophelia, Lucas, and Ryett; sisters Joyce Rush, Joan Moyer, and Leona Conrad; brother Donald Weil; step-sons Jeffrey Seyler, Scott Seyler, James Buchert, Joseph Buchert, Norman Buchert, and Richard Buchert; and 13 step-grandchildren.

Along with his parents, Nevin was predeceased by his first wife Joyce Stiver Weil; sister Jean Rohrbach; and brothers Leon Weil Jr., Jimmy Weil, and Larry Weil.

Funeral services will be private.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Nevin’s memory to the Boyertown Area Multi-Service, 200 Spring St, Boyertown, PA 19512.

Words can not express my deepest heart felt condolences , as tears flow. The love & happiness this great man has shown me our family over years will be missed dearly , his laughter & his amazing smile. Good bye my Handsome Uncle & give hugs around for all of us. Till we meet again ?

It was such a pleasure having the opportunity of conversing with Nevin the few times I met him at mutual family gatherings. He really did like talking about cars and ironically enough his beautiful blue Chevy Nova is my same age, which made it a true collectors item. No doubt he was a very kind man. Nev was my favorite grown man as I was growing up in the neighborhood and I always kept in touch.Great memories of which I will remember.RIP my friend
