Daisy J. (Goodyear) Paolucci, 93, of Pottstown, wife of the late Donald Paul Paolucci, passed away Friday January 5, 2024 at Wyncote Place.
Born in Pottstown, she was the daughter of the late Edward M. and Florence M. (Mayer) Goodyear.
She was a graduate of Pottstown High School class of 1948.
Daisy was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She kept an impeccable house where she welcomed anyone at anytime. She would always be there to greet you with her beautiful smile and sparkling blue eyes. Family was so important to her and Donald as they set an example for everyone with the family Sunday dinners. She was notorious for her Christmas cookies, Good Friday raisin bread, homemade pasta and a steady hand at sewing for everyone. Daisy had tremendous faith in God and was a devoted member of Grace Lutheran Church in Pottstown, where she taught nursery school for many years. Daisy was an extremely selfless person, always doing whatever she could for everyone else. As her final selfless act she has donated her body to science so she can hopefully help future generations with better health.
Surviving are her children Rock Anthony Paolucci husband of Barbara, Randy Paolucci husband of Kimberly, Lee Ann Paolucci wife of Daniel O’Keefe, and Jan Endy wife of Todd; grandchildren Matthew Bieleski husband of Kristen, Anthony Paolucci husband of Ashley, Angela Martz wife of Rick, Michael Paolucci, Nicole Paolucci, Jeffrey Endy husband of Danielle, Jenna Endy, and Joseph Paolucci; great grandchildren Everly, Elena, Crew, Phoebe, and James “J.J.”. Also surviving is her twin sister, Pansy Stolar.
Along with her husband and parents, Daisy was predeceased by her sisters Thelma Lessig and Florence Goodyear.
A memorial service will be held Friday January 12, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Grace Lutheran Church, 660 N. Charlotte St., Pottstown, PA 19464. Interment will be private. Visitation will be held Friday from 9:30-10:45 AM at the church.
