Gloria J. Walbert, 83, of Gilbertsville, passed away peacefully Wednesday January 10, 2024 at her home.
Born in Schnecksville, she was the daughter of the late Ray and Dorothy (Herber) Walbert.
Gloria loved puzzles, coloring, and collecting dolls. She was a fan of Elvis and Dick Clark. Gloria enjoyed being with her family members and especially cherished family gatherings.
Surviving are her brothers Carl Walbert, Ray Walbert, and Dennis Walbert; sisters Barbara Mutter wife of the late Carl, Edna Kennedy, Josephine Sematis wife of Ernest, Joan Smith wife of the late Arthur, Joyce Jones wife of the late Gary, Patricia Eline, and Lynette Hoffman wife of Corey; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Along with her parents, Gloria was predeceased by her sister Diane Updegrove and brother Arthur Walbert.
Joint services will be held for Gloria and her brother Arthur on Monday January 15, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Catagnus Funeral Home & Cremation Center, LLC., 1020 E. Philadelphia Ave., Gilbertsville, PA 19525. Burial will follow at Limerick Garden of Memories. Visitation will be held Monday from 10:00-10:45 AM at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Gloria’s name to St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 1809 Hoffmansville Rd., Sassamansville, PA 19472.
