Diane Pachella, 84

Diane (Pagnacle) Pachella, 84, of Bechtelsville, wife of the late Kenneth J. Pachella, passed away Friday February 16, 2024 at Lehigh Valley Hospital- Cedar Crest.

Born in Norristown, she was the daughter of the late John R. and Helen R. (Reifinger) Pagnacle.

Diane was a devoted member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Bechtelsville. She enjoyed reading, crocheting, baking, and playing the piano. Diane had a passion for gardening and raising her 10 sheep and flock of chickens. She also had a terrific sense of humor and loved spending time with her family and friends.

Diane graduated from Conshohocken High School and went to work in the office at Quaker Chemical until she left to raise her family. After retiring, Diane and Ken enjoyed traveling around the country in their RV and sightseeing.

Surviving are her sons Louis C. Pachella husband of Patricia and David J. Pachella fiancé of Michele Hackett; grandchildren Joseph Pachella husband of Stephanie, Aubrey Pachella wife of Brion, Anthony Pachella husband of Aleaha, and Celeste Ott wife of Mark; great grandchildren Braeden, Rosa, Logan, Lilliana, Jayden, Skyler, and Hunter; sister Linda Barkmeyer; and her loving canine companion Heidy.

Along with her husband and parents, Diane was predeceased by her son Kenneth E. Pachella and her sister Johanna McNamee.

Funeral services will be held Saturday February 24, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Trinity Lutheran Church, 1749 S Main St., Bechtelsville, PA 19505. Burial will follow at Bechtelsville Union Cemetery. Visitation will be held Saturday from 10:00-10:45 AM at the church.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Diane’s memory to Trinity Lutheran Church, 1749 S Main St., Bechtelsville, PA 19505.

I was saddened to hear about the loss of your mother. Though I never had the privilege of knowing her personally, the respect and admiration I hold for you, David, speaks volumes of the wonderful person she must have been.

Having experienced the loss of my mother some years ago, my heart truly goes out to you during this profound time of grief. Please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers as you navigate through this difficult period. May the cherished memories of your mother bring you solace and strength.
