Paul A. Helmle, 83 of Parkerford, formerly from Linfield, passed away Friday March 8, 2024 at Phoenixville Hospital.
Born in Pottstown, he was the son of the late Paul L. Helmle and Alice (Apirubis) Berkey and stepfather John H. Berkey.
Paul graduated from Pottstown High School and worked at Uniform Tubes in Collegeville. He was a volunteer fireman with the Linfield Fire Co, serving as Chief and Assistant Chief at various times over his many years with the fire company.
He enjoyed hunting and especially loved deep sea fishing. His message to all for now would be “Gone fishing. Not coming back”.
Surviving are his daughters Kimberly Helmle of Coopersburg, Karen Helmle of Palm Bay, FL and Kathy Powers of Bally and a grandson, Joshua M. Hish of Nashville, TN.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
