Elizabeth A. Harmon, 70

Elizabeth A. Harmon, “Lizann”, beloved mother, wife, sister, and dear friend, passed away peacefully on March 7, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. She was 70 years old. Born on July 9, 1953 in Darby, PA, Lizann was the cherished daughter of John and Frances Lyons. Throughout her life, Lizann embodied unwavering strength, resilience, and grace. She dedicated herself wholeheartedly to her family, prioritizing their happiness and well-being above all else. Her love knew no bounds, and she leaves behind a legacy of warmth and affection that will forever be remembered.

Lizann had a passion for life! She loved to travel, was an avid reader, loved all genres of movies, and the theater. One summer, she drove herself across the country to see her best friend, Kathy. It was a trip of a lifetime for her. Regardless of what she was doing, she approached life with enthusiasm and a contagious zest for living. In addition to her role as a loving mother and wife, Lizann was a loyal friend and confidante. She had a gift for making others feel valued and supported, and her presence brought comfort and joy to countless lives.

Lizann is preceded in death by two of her sons, David and Matthew. She is survived by her husband, Jim; her children, Dr. Frances Garner, Steven, Christine McMahon; her step-children, Jamie, Dr. Siobhan Mannion, Michael, Kimberly; her grandchildren, James, Jason, Rachel, Samantha, David, Mason, Marc, Aaron, Madeline Garner, Kevin, and Cassidy, and a host of dear friends and relatives. She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

A celebration of Lizann's life will be held on Saturday, April 27, 2024 at St. Norbert’s Parish in Paoli, PA at 11:00am. Visitation with the family will be held between 9:00 and 11:00am at the church. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital in honor of Lizann's memory.

Though Lizann may no longer be with us in body, her spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of those she touched. May her memory be a blessing and may she rest in eternal peace.
