With heartfelt love, we are announcing the passing of Janice (Brooke) Fizz, wife of William Fizz, who peacefully left this earth on Friday, May 3, 2024.
She was born in Boyertown, PA, the daughter of the late Myrtle (Auman) Brooke and James C. Brooke. She grew up in a lively large family. She was a twin, to Joan.
She enjoyed people and her life was one of service whether to her family, friends, or co-workers.
Janice was always very proud of her children, loving them as her greatest accomplishments; Robert, Beverly, Scott and Debra. She loved her 9 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Her home was always warm and welcoming, always offering a cup of coffee and a sweet treat.
While at home, she loved her flower garden. In her free time, you would always see her with word searches and puzzles.
With her rosy red cheeks and bright blue eyes, she warmed the hearts of all she served at work. With her regular customers at K-mart’s cafeteria she was always a refreshing stop after shopping. To her security job, at the mall, walking the miles every day, greeting all the shoppers at the once busy mall. She loved, she laughed, and she knew all the comings and goings. Her smile was contagious, spreading her love everywhere she went.
We celebrate her life, the amazing woman that she was will live on in our hearts. Services will be held at Catagnus Funeral Home & Cremation Center, LLC, 711 N. Franklin St., Pottstown, PA 19464 on Friday, May 10th at 11:00 AM. A visitation with the family will be held in advance from 10 – 11 AM at the funeral home.
