Sue Chiulli (DiCredico) Merschen, 93, wife of the late John Chiulli, and wife to the late Gerard Merschen, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 21, 2024, at her home in Collegeville.
Born in Francaville Al Mare, Italy, she was the daughter of the late Vincenzo and Concetta (DiNunzio) DiCredico.
Sue was an artistic & creative person. In fashion, she specialized in fashion design and bridal gowns. She loved to work with her hands. She would spend her free time crocheting, knitting, and needlepointing. She loved to hand-make everything. From her drapes on her windows to her napkins on her kitchen table, but nothing compared to her talent in the kitchen. She was an amazing cook as well. She was just a talented woman. Sue loved people and loved life. She enjoyed music and dancing. Her children and grandchildren were her world and she loved them very much. Sue was known as a strong woman as well as also an extremely generous and giving person. She had the ability to love all.
Surviving are her daughters Carmen Chiulli, wife of the late Joe Uchnihat; Adele Chiulli, wife of the late Bruce Dragish; her son Louis Chiulli (deceased), sisters Lella and Nineatte; brother Enrico; grandchildren Steph, Dan, Quincy, Angelina, Brendan, Michael and her great grandchildren Carmyn, Gracelynn; and her beloved dog Lucky.
Memorial Mass will be held on Monday, June 3, 2024, at 11:00AM at St. Eleanor Church (647 Locust Street, Collegeville, Pa 19426}
Visitation is from 10:00-11:00 AM at the church.
Burial will be held privately by the family at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, mass cards and prayers are welcome.
