Richard Gerald Bauman, 92, of Bally, husband of Louise (Quigley) Bauman for 72 years, passed away on May 30, 2024 after a long illness.
Born in Bally, he is a son of the late Harvey E. and Florence (Mutter) Bauman.
He served in the US Army in Italy. He was a transportation manager for Quigley Bus Service in Bally for many years.
He was a lifelong member of Most Blessed Sacrament Church.
Surviving are two children, son Michael Bauman of Bally, and daughter Christine Unis, wife of Stephen Unis of Mertztown; and three grandchildren, Stephen Unis Jr of Mertztown, PA, Michael Unis of Ulster, PA and Christopher Unis of Franklin, TN.
One of 13 children, he is survived by brothers Frank and wife Barbara, of Bally, Roger of Bally, and sisters Jean Sobotor of FL, Eleanor Weinsteiger of Barto, and Ruth Heydt of New Berlinville; sister-in-law Faye Bauman of Bechtelsville, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Along with his parents, he is predeceased by infant son Richard, brothers Gerald, Kenneth, Donald, Robert, Ernest and sisters Justine and Georgina.

A funeral mass will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, June 6, 2024 at Most Blessed Sacrament Church, 610 Pine Street, Bally PA. A viewing will be from 10-10:45 a.m. at the church prior to the mass. Burial follows in the church cemetery.
