Tyler Alan Eagle, 30, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 4, 2024, at the University of Pennsylvania Hospital, surrounded by his family.
Tyler battled many ongoing illnesses since childhood including Crohn’s and liver disease, and was awaiting a liver transplant.
Born in Phoenixville, Pennsylvania he grew up in Gilbertsville, was a 2012 graduate of Boyertown Area High School, and attended Temple University’s Honors Program until 2014 due to his illness.
Tyler worked as a Second Assist/Orderly at Rothman Orthopedics for numerous years before leaving due to his illness.
He loved Pokémon, Star Wars, anime and Marvel, and had an extensive Pop Funko Collection. He was an avid videogame player and movie/TV show watcher, and enjoyed skateboarding, longboarding, and working out.
Tyler is survived by his mother and father, Charlene A. (Knapp) Eagle and Troy Alan Eagle, his sister Amanda Eagle, brother Connor Eagle, grandparents Helen and John Knapp Jr., uncle John Knapp III, and beloved dogs Dino and Rigby. He is predeceased by his grandmother Sandra Eagle.
Services will be held privately by the family at this time.
