Marilyn Ann Weeden, 72

Marilyn Ann Weeden passed away peacefully in her sleep at home on July 4, 2024 in Pottstown Pennsylvania at the age of 72.

Marilyn is survived by her husband of 45 years Christopher Weeden. Her son Christopher William “Billy” Weeden and wife Megan. Her grandchildren Victoria Bromely and Leilani Boyle, and extended family Natasha Loar. She is proceeded by parents Martha and William Boyle and daughter Michelle Boyle.

Marilyn was born in Nashua, NH on Feb 20, 1952. While living in Bermuda with her parents, she attended a British Naval Party where she met her life partner. She married Christopher Weeden on December 23, 1978 in Bermuda. They moved to England for 6 years while Chris finished his term of service and then moved to the states. They eventually settled here in Pottstown Pennsylvania for 37 years. They had two children in their home and opened their doors to many others who found the home that Mimi had created.

Her husband, children, and grandchildren remember her as a fiercely loving, feisty, and light hearted person. She loved everyone deeply and often showed it through hand knit crafts. She was a dedicated member of the church and a passionate long term volunteer for Coventry Christian School “CCS”. She loved spending her time with her CCS and church families.

Losing such deep love shows us that grief is just love in a heavy coat. Hold it even when it’s heavy, and never stop holding each other.

You had such great qualities, and I was particularly lucky to have met you. Your generosity opened me to build myself with confidence and I am so grateful to have had you by my side. I love you.

Mimi was such a loving person. Her & I are the same age & I used to wonder how she had the energy to raise her grandchild who is a few years younger then mine. After talking to her I saw she was energized by love & A sense responsibility & she would do anything in her power to give Leilani the best start in life . What a fantastic legacy. Praying for strength for her family & friends.
