Theodore "Ted" Fontaine, 87

Theodore “Ted” Fontaine, 87, passed away on July 9, 2024 from complications of Alzheimer’s disease at Southeastern Veterans' Center in Spring City. Born on October 10, 1936 in Norristown to the late John and Florence (Sheetz) Fontaine. Preceded in death by brothers Bill, Bob, and Carl; and sister Eleanor. He went on to take the civil service exam to become a police officer, passing the test with flying colors. He joined the West Norriton Police Force and retired in 1990 after 27 years of service.

He and Pat then moved to St. Augustine, Florida were they enjoyed almost 20 years of The Sunshine State only to move back north close to family as dad's condition worsened.

He enjoyed watching TV, especially “The Price is Right,” playing tennis and occasionally golf, listening to Tony Bennett, and sharing his favorite movies with loved ones. He often had Leonard Maltin's Movie Guide or a TV Guide handy. With a kind smile and distinctive charm, he found great satisfaction in making people laugh and was known for his inimitable sense of humor. He was a terrific storyteller and a fantastic photographer.
