Add My Condolences

I didn't know Bernie at all, but his son Bob and I have been work colleagues on and off again for the better part of 20 years now, and if his son is any testament to who he was, I'd venture a guess that he was a great guy and a great father. Rest in peace Mr. Conley!

I had the pleasure of teaching in the classroom next to Bernie for 10 years. Always looked forward to him having the kids read Treasure Island each year. There were audio tapes of the story he'd play in class. I think I knew the story as well as the students from hearing them so often. Great memories of 'The Black Spot' and hearing "LAND HO" cranked up to full volume. Rest in peace, my friend. I'll miss you.
