Robert Kozub, MD, went to be with the Lord on July 28th. Born May 22, 1933 in Cleveland OH, to the late Stanley and Genevieve Kozub. He graduated from Spencer High School, Geneva, OH and Hiram College, Hiram, OH. In 1959 he graduated from Ohio State University Medical School, where he also met his wife, Nancy Newell Kozub. Bob specialized in Cardiology and Internal Medicine. He served in the USAF for 13 years, ending his service as a Lt. Colonel. He treated pilots and crews, and in Vietnam he was personal physician for General Creighton Abrams.
From 1971-1996 he practiced Cardiology at Methodist and Thomas Jefferson Hospitals, Philadelphia. Bob and his wife Nancy, lived in Radnor, PA for twenty-five years. From 1996-2015 he lived in Craftsbury Common, VT. In 2015 he and Nancy retired to Bradenton, Florida.
As the Lord would have it, his wife Nancy joined him in eternity on the same day of his passing. Preceded in death by sisters Diana Cooney; Christina Creek; Janet Perdue. Bob is survived by his sister Monica Ols, Parma, OH, and his children: Karen (Jeremy) Thompson of Athens, Greece; David (Marice) Kozub, Stowe, PA; Kristopher (Teri) Kozub, Richmond, VA; Monika Kozub, Phoenixville, PA; Bobbie (Bob) Brogan, Paoli, PA; Doug (Tyla) Kozub, Pottstown, PA; Greg (Carrie) Kozub, Rutledge, PA; and 13 grandchildren and one great grandchild.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 10, 2024, at 10:00AM at Connection Church (755 S. Keim St., Pottstown, PA 19465)
