Audrey Matthews, 77, passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 15, 2024, at Parkhouse in Royersford.
She was the daughter of the late Alexander Matthews and Myrtle (Manns) Matthews.
Audrey had a love of animal and rescue, especially for cats. She was a loving caretaker of her sister, Mary. Audrey enjoyed crafting and thrift store shopping. She also enjoyed traveling, and she especially loved visiting Ireland. She was a lifetime member of St. James Episcopal Church in Collegeville.
Surviving is her niece Alexandra Black, wife of Rev. John Black; great nieces and great nephews Evyn Black, Haven Black, Joshua Black, and Noah Black; and many beloved cousins and extended family. She is predeceased by her sister Mary Hummer and brother-in-law William Hummer.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, August 9, 2024, at 11:00AM at St. James Episcopal Church (3768 Germantown Pike, Collegeville, PA 19426) with Fr. Mike Sowards officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery. Visitation will also be held on Friday, August 9, 2024, from 10:00-11:00AM at the church.
