Dennis L. Kulp, 66, of Gilbertsville, husband of Michele E. (Levonuk) Kulp, passed away Wednesday, August 7, 2024 at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.
Born in Pottstown, he was the son of the late Harvey and Joyce (Reeves) Kulp.
Dennis served as VP of Kulp Car Rentals since 1975. He was also a board member of Beacon of Hope. Dennis had compassion for the homeless and spent time getting to know the residents at the shelter and also at the encampment in Pottstown. He was an advocate for Pottstown Bible Church and was involved in their mission to help those hurting in the surrounding community. He was always available to help friends, family, and those in need. Dennis also dedicated time to mentor young men in Pottstown at Molding Men and help them find employment opportunities. In addition to philanthropy, some of his favorite hobbies included woodworking and home renovation. He loved to fly out to Washington state to spend time with family and in the past two years became PopPop to three grandchildren with one more on the way. Dennis truly had a passion for life.
Surviving along with his wife are his sons Ryan Kulp husband of Julie, Matthew Kulp husband of Elisa, and Jesse Kulp; grandchildren Leah, Isaac, and Josie Kulp, and an expected grandchild in January; and brothers Michael Kulp husband of Karen and Jeff Kulp husband of Kim.
